Founded by the late philanthropist Harry Gabriel, the Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center enriches the arts in the already flourishing art community of Ponchatoula, while also preserving the legacy and history of its two historic buildings in perpetuity. It serves as a multidisciplinary arts organization that is dedicated to expanding the cultural and creative opportunities for Ponchatoula and its surrounding area. Its strategic goals focus on programming that celebrates the local artists and provides a window to the world. The mission of the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs is to enrich the lives of the citizens of St. Tammany Parish by nurturing, sustaining, and enhancing the arts. The St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs has many programs and initiatives available to assist arts organizations and non-profit agencies presenting arts programs, so as to foster development of the arts in St. Tammany Parish.
